 Scholarship

Harrison District Two Federal Credit Union is proud to offer scholarship awards for members with active accounts who pursue higher education. Members who have been accepted to or are currently enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning in a certificate, Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree program are invited to apply.

Scholarships

Gardner Scholarships – Two awards are given in memory of the late Charlie Gardner and his wife Mitzi. Charlie was a Principal in Harrison School District and a very early member of the credit union. His wife Mitzi was the first manager of the credit union and is still a loyal member. $1000 each

Sam Hanson Scholarships – Sam was a longtime teacher in Harrison and strong credit union member. To honor his many years of service to education, his family and the credit union created two scholarships in his memory. $1000 each

Robert E. McCoy Scholarship – Bob McCoy was deeply connected to the Harrison Community through his work in the finance office and was a staunch member of the credit union. To honor his memory, his family established a scholarship to be awarded to a Harrison or Sierra graduate. $1000

Eligibility

ü      Member of the Credit Union with an active account

ü      Accepted or enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning in a certificate, Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree program

ü      Must complete and turn in all required elements of the application by the posted deadline

Restrictions

ü      One award per recipient will be given per year

ü      Recipients may re-apply annually

ü      Graduate programs are not eligible for this award
