Harrison District 2 FCU is proud to announce extra security enhancements to our debit card program.  Visa Check Cards will soon feature special transaction monitoring by FraudWatch^® PLUS.  A sophisticated system will learn your spending habits and report to the Credit Union when a transaction is not consistent with your usual patterns.  The Credit Union will review the transaction and a representative from Fraud Prevention Services may contact you to verify the transaction was performed by you, and that your card is safely in your possession.  (As a reminder, you should never give your card or PIN or card number to anyone over the phone or internet.)

The Harrison District 2 Federal Credit Union Check Card is an ATM card that also works like a check.

A Visa Check Card works just like a check, only better. Use it instead of cash, credit or writing a check wherever Visa is accepted at millions of merchants all over the world. The amount of the purchase will be automatically deducted from your Credit Union checking account. It's safer than carrying a large amount of cash and easier than travelers checks.

A Visa Check Card is convenient and safe to use when traveling or for everyday use. Just present your card to any retailer that accepts Visa, such as gas stations, gift shops, hotels, and restaurants.

A Visa Check Card is also an ATM card. Use it to get cash, make transfers, or even check your balance at ATMs everywhere. Just look for the Cirrus or Visa symbol at more than 400,000 ATM locations worldwide.

Your checking account will be charged $2 for each card you order, this is to help offset the cost of producing the card. There is no annual fee. If you use your card to get cash at an ATM; the machine will tell you what the machine will charge you for the transaction. We do not charge you for the first 3 cash transactions per month, after that you will be charged $1 per cash transaction.

You will never be charged a fee when you use your card for purchases!
